In
an effort
to raise funds that would allow artist Joshua Smith (far
left) to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-Day Saints these Temple Sculptures were created, and
indeed paved the way for him to serve in the South Africa Durban Mission. After his return in December of 2001,
these sculptures have continued to captivate members of the church as well as our fellow
Christians of other denominations. The increasing popularity of their Temple
Sculptures have opened new portals for these two artists
to expand their talents into markets other than the LDS community.
Ezekiell Smith's involvement in the art industry over the years
has given him valuable hands-on knowledge pertinent to their current project. He served as framing
manager for a national franchised art gallery, performed as an online art broker, and plays a
major role in the assistance of painting, assembling, and marketing the Temple
Sculptures.
With a passion for art
and a love for what they do, these two artistic brothers have introduced a unique piece of
art for everyone to enjoy in the comfort of their homes.
